What do I need before ordering?
All you need is an up to date prescription that is less than 2 years old or 1 year old for people who are over 70 or who suffer from diabetes, glaucoma or those who are over 40 and have a relative with glaucoma.
How do I get a copy of my prescription?
You should have a copy of your prescription from your eye test. Opticians by law are required to give you a copy of your prescription. If you do not have a copy of your prescription then contact the optician where you had your eyes last tested. If your prescription is over the time limit then go to any optician for an up to date eye test.
Can I order via phone?
Our order form online is very simple to use and has a step by step guide however if you do not feel comfortable using the online order form then we will be happy to take your order over the phone.
My prescription doesn’t have any ‘cylinder’ or ‘axis’ value.
This is quite common. The cylinder and axis are used to correct astigmatism. If you do not have astigmatism, you will not have cylinder and axis included in your prescription. While ordering your glasses with Harrow Optical, when entering your prescription just select 0.00 for both cylinder and axis.
What if I have entered some information incorrectly?
Contact us as soon as possible, as we process orders rapidly. We do however ask that you double check your prescription before placing your order with us.
Can I try the frames at home before I order them on the website?
We don’t have any such service as of yet but you may purchase the frame and try it on in the comfort of your home, if then you find the fit or look is not right for you, send the glasses back to us with cloth, case and Authentification certificate, we will be happy to refund your money back provided the frame, cloth and case is in original non scratched condition.
